Default Pokemon Sun + Moon Steelbook, November 18th

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are coming together in a single Steelbook edition.

Release date November 18th.

Note, this includes BOTH games so it's not really OVERpriced.

I'm hoping this goes OOP quickly. I want to use the money from this version to pay off the scalper fees for Fire Emblem Fates SE.

It is up on Amazon.ca now too. Though the price there is $120. Considering the price for Sun and Moon separately is $50, it is a bit overpriced since they're basically identical games and all you're getting beyond the two copies is a steelbook case for a $20 premium. I think I'll pass, since I pre-ordered Moon on Best Buy Canada and should get x25 rewards. If I hadn't yet done that, I might have been tempted (curse my steelbook obsession!).

Yea, I preordered it with the two other Dragon Quest titles coming this year. My goal is to have all of the DQ titles on one platform.

I don't have Prime though. I thought prime was mainly about free 2 day shipping (plus some video content)? If it actually discounts products further than the listed prices, I might have to sub to it, seeing as I order from Amazon often enough.

Prime only discounts the new games, for the first two weeks after launch. If I remember correctly.

Still sounds like it might be worth it, though I've no idea how it might differ in Canada. I know Canada doesn't get as many Prime benefits as the USA does.

I consider the streaming music and video as just an added bonus and not really part of the service. It's the 2-day delivery on most everything with no minimum basket that gets me. I know Amazon.ca has a lower basket for free super saver shipping but even if the USA site was $25 for the threshold I would still sometimes have trouble meeting that unless I looked hard, which made me spend more than I really wanted to.

I've always wondered why with all the exploiting of DQ Square-Enix does that they still aren't porting the games to modern consoles.
