I am wondering if the PC version of this game will be a Windows Store exclusive?
They have said existing owners of the original game can upgrade for $4.99 but I do not see it listed on Steam. Levi verifies this fact for the X1 version.

I don't think it comes out until Tuesday.

Any game that features paid loot boxes should be rated AO.

Seeing as this upgrades the original version and you can buy this for $5 if you own the original version, and the original version was ONLY on Steam....I'm going to go ahead and say this will NOT be a Windows Store exclusive.

Regardless of release date, which you are correct, they still usually have a page for it, no?

No, they just update the existing page.

Started playing this and find it really engrossing. Every time I play it, I end up playing for three times longer than I planned on playing.

I found it pretty challenging, but the relaxing music and Miyazaki-style visual design take the edge off so that it never felt intense or frustrating. I don't think it brings anything new to the table in terms of gameplay, but it does it very well. A really good Metroid-style game.

Forgot about this game for awhile. I had just moved on to playing other stuff. I came back to it and am still loving it. Great game. That level in the tree was awesome. I loved the 'Mario 3' Pipeworld level mechanics and that race out the top of the tree against the rising water was really fun.

Would you want a sequel?

I'm not sure I would want a sequel. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm assuming this one will end with the whole spirit forest world being restored to its harmonious glory. So I don't know where a sequel would go other than to cover the same ground again. If it's one of the sequels that's just the same game again with a few new features, then no.

If they can find a way to send Ori on a quest to new types of environments where he gains new mechanics, then that could be interesting. It would have to start with Ori having all the abilities he has at the end of the first game and growing from there.
