I actually rather enjoy this fighter. It's kinda awful to play with a controller, but most fighters are.

I think these graphics, from the screengrabs.

You would think someone would come out with a fighter suited for controllers

Tekken is the only one that I can think of that works really well with controllers. However, that's my preference talking. Some people do really well with them and don't have the complaints that I do. I also don't play fighters like I use to since I rarely play against people anymore. One of the driving factors to my Tekken addiction as a kid was the fact I was better than all my friends. So, I practiced all the time to maintain that. I would play all the Arcade modes on Ultra and whatnot. I played Dead or Alive, Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Marvel Vs Capcom.

I was never particularly great at 2D fighters because they relied a lot on d-pad movements.

Yah I was never into those fighters

LOL I may have played it in the arcade but not consoles, but this was years ago.
