Default Voice recognition software recommendations

My mom is looking for something as her hands shake a good bit and she's having problems typing. I know Dragon seems to be considered pretty good but I'm wondering if any of us here have experience with it or any others.

Thanks for any info.

Dragon is the best from what I've heard. Either Pro or Dictate is apparently the best value and they are like 30% off right now. Friend of mine bought Pro for his dad.

A few people where I work use Dragon (mostly hand related issues like carpal tunnel, etc).
Depending upon what you want to use it for, it ranges from great to terrible.

Composing letters or documents - Great
Filling out forms with multiple fields and drop downs - terrible

There is somewhat of a learning curve to it and most people seem to adapt to it pretty quickly though.

Is there anything other than Dragon? That's what I thought.

Give her a good time but be gentle, she's old and recently broke her hip.
