I checked the game out of my local library and finished it in one day. I love this type of game, but it was a frustrating game. I did get a platinum trophy. I do not have many, normally do not care. The game is short and can be beaten in a day and I am a older man that is an average gamer. I think if you love to get platinum trophies this is a game for you. It can be done very quickly.

I hated the game, but got a platinum trophy. The game is just that short. I think it took me 7 hours. This is truly a game with absolutely no replay value. I could care less about no online play, as I am not a big online player.

I know. I thought maybe they would have a mode where you could access the Armory mid-game and pick any weapon you want at any time after beating it. That would have made a replay a lot more fun. (They could even do something crazy like make the enemies tougher.) So many poor decisions on this one.

I believe the game was extremely rushed. I hope they get funded for a sequel or another game.

I doubt it. It runs and looks great. They just needed better writers.

and editors. From a developer perspective I think a lot of their issue was simply not having enough background in Third person shooters, or even shooters in general.

Indeed, they had a lot of staff (they started with 80 workers and ended up with more than 130 prior to going gold). Ready at Dawn's Andrea Pessino told me they actually started in 2010, so they didn't really rush it. They just, well, made some strange decisions. And, yes, better writers would have helped. The amount of cliche phrases in this game is boggling.
