Default Xbox 360 Core System

Does the 360 core system have an internal hard drive like the original Xbox did? The reason I'm asking is, my 11 yrs. old son has stolen my 360 premium and plays it in his bedroom on his SD TV. I already have the high def cord and wireless controllers etc., etc. I just need a regular 360 that he can play on his SD TV. But if he can't save his games on the core system then there's no reason to buy a core seeing that the 20gig external HDD is around 80 to 100 bucks.

Nope, no HD. You'd have to buy a $40 memory card, and in that case you're better off buying the premium to get a HD.

No doubt, if they wanted to make a more affordable 360 they could've at least made it do what the original Xbox could do.
