Default bioshock pc requirements... ouch

i'm just glad that it doesn't require vista (ugh). my desktop just barely meets the recommended requirements... i might need to upgrade the vid card though.

hehe i will once i'm sure the hardware issues have been squared away.

i'd need to upgrade the card for crysis anyway, so we'll see...

What card do you have? I meet the recommended requirements except for my video card -- it's a GEForce 7600GT and only has 256 MB RAM.

same. i have a XFX 7600 GTS.

i lowballed it when i built my system because it was good enough, and i was anticipating having to bump up to a dx10 card for crysis anyway.

crysis looks awesome. even if you cut what the developers say in half (to account for the expected hype 'n hyperbole), the game still sounds pretty effin' incredible.

i just hope they 1) don't botch MP the way they botched it with far cry and 2) don't go with the crappy pay-for-play GFW model.

Ill never buy it mainly bcuz im not a pc gamer. Ill just take my 360 controller to my friends house and try it when it hits.

hehe fair enough. if people thought the buy-in for ps3 gaming is high, the buy-in for pc gaming makes that look like peanuts.
