Default Anyone wish for a game review site that keeps on updating after release?

One thing I find weird with almost all gaming review sites, is that once the game comes out all updates immediately die out till an update or problem (and only if it's soon after release) comes along. I wish there was a site that would continue to update you. Updates, like some cool things they've seen now that they've had more time with the game instead of a rush to finish for a review. Something that you could follow on a weekly basis for a couple of months.

The reason I would like this is sometimes....I actually am too busy with work to keep following the review websites. So when I suddenly return to do some browsing I much later on find I missed out on some good game releases. Obviously, you won't miss something like COD, MOH or GT5 but I missed out on F1 2010 and only started reading reviews recently (which in themselves don't seem to give a clear picture). I'd like to know what else came out that was noteworthy.

Wouldn't mind being told how the MP is evolving on certain games. I really only find myself doing the MP a few times, and going back to the usuals. U2, MW2, and Castle Crashers are the only ones I keep up with.

It's a good idea for sure. There are plenty of games that come out buggy and get terrible reviews and then get patched...but no one goes back and re-reviews them. You would think someone would at least add a section to update you on changes in games.

Not only that, but they are shipped "review copies" which can vary vastly from the final release version Lost Odyssey was the most noticeable for this, and I believe only one site updated their review because of it. Also they never do installed vs. uninstalled comparisons, which I would love.

I'd like this. I mean if we had one like it, MW2 wouldn't be a 94 on metacritic.

This whole idea if implemented would make the developers improve their games for fear of being marked down after the marketing hype wanes. We all get picked up onto the hype train to some extent depending on the game in question. So having a re-look at something down the road then re-adjusting the score if necessary would be a great checks and balances system.

Sure sounds great to me, but this need is already fulfilled in some part by user reviews and forum discussions which occur over time.
