Emulators are legal anyway. The only illegal parts are if you download BIOS off internet (which if you have the console seems perfectly moral anyway) or the game ROMs (again, if you own the game, who cares if itís illegal to download the same ROM?).

Sony wouldíve shut it down if they thought it was bad. Then again Nintendo is more villainous about such things than anyone else.

Emulation talk is allows on GAF and ResetEra.

Now I have a portable PS2 for when I travel
Cool, you can always set it to software mode. That usually produces 1:1 emulation assuming you have a good CPU. But obviously hardware mode is where you get to remaster your games with a couple of mouse clicks.

I only played a dozen or so games on PS2. I spent much more time on the Xbox and GameCube.

Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XII
GT3
GT4
Okami
Shadow of the Colossus
Ace Combat 5
Devil May Cry

I know I played a few more, but that's all that comes to mind.

The PC Emulator police came for RedRedSuit today and hauled him away.
He will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I became obssessed with JRPGs around the time that the PS2 came out. Easily one of the best consoles along side the 360, SNES, and PS4.
