Default Clash of the Titans

CLASH of the TITANS

not many picks of it out yet (2 or 3 tops) But it stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton... hopefully they do it Juctice and leave most of the "God" cut-scenes out of it and stick to the action, ala Sinbad.

the pics make it look interesting enough. I'm a fan of the original, so we'll see how this turns out.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

I hope it does the original movie justice.

I hope Ray Haryhausen has some input in it. Stop motion may not look all that great, but its the best.

Not so sure that would be the case for what I want to see.... Careful CG work is vastly superior to Stop/Go Motion techniques. Of course it also requires a healthy budget, so assuming this film has the budget, I want to see some nice CG work.

They better not shit all over this film. Every single major scene from the original better be there with no liberties. Already they've changed the story completely to now its a battle against Hades who's trying to overthrow Zues. WTF??? That has NOTHING to do with Clash of the Titans.

I am skeptical, at best.

And the chick from Riddick as Andromeda? They better have some serious make-up. The original Andromeda (Judi Bowker) was so hot it was unbelievable....

When looking at the credits for the film - his name isn't mentioned. He is 89 years old you know.

In the days of no computers - stop motion was a necessity for special effects. To be honest - now it just looks corny and old - but at the time - it just wowed the hell out of me.
