Although not my "Favorite", but these are the ones that I constantly refer to or watch:

Office Space, The Matrix, Empire Records, Anchorman (always quoting), and Deftone's Live in Hawaii.

My son's list: Cars, Cars, Disney's Cars, Pixar's Cars, and Cars

I could put a huge list together, but instead I'll choose just one to make this more interesting. Growing up and really stepping into the 80's era of media with 80's music (who doesn't love DM, Def Leppard, Debbie Gibson, et al), 80's shows (Miami Vice, A-Team, etc), and 80's clothes (parachute pants, red leather jackets, etc)...

the quintessential 80's movie for me was....

Top Gun.

that's the movie that I can't live without. Coz I feel the need... the need for speed.

I could come up with a huge list, but I'll just go with the first few that come to mind:

- ShawShank Redemption
- The Ten Commandments
- Jaws
- Jurassic Park
- Planet of the Apes (original)
- Akira
- Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
- The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Some series that I'd like to see are:

- Indiana Jones
- Matrix
- Back To the Future
- Lord of the Rings
- Aliens

Sorry, what I meant was those are titles I'd like to see in HD.

I've already got all of them on DVD and while they look pretty darn good up-scaled on my HD-A2, I know they'd look even better if they were released in HD format.
