Default Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Looks very good, if you are a Star Wars fan, IMO.

Does look pretty cool... been watching it's development for a few months now... not sure if it's worth seeing it in the theaters but it's definitely worth a rent, then a purchase if it rocks. Even though the characters are "stylized" the effects and backgrounds are phenominal. I'm guessing Industrial Light and Magic had a hand.

Lucasfilm Animation Singapore

Originally founded in 2004 as a means to tap into the diverse global talent pool, Lucasfilm Animation Singapore (LAS) officially opened its doors in October 2005. LAS works closely with its sister company – Bay Area-based Lucasfilm Animation – on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a computer-generated television series expanding the scope of the Star Wars Saga with new stories, cutting-edge animation and signature style. Debuting in North American theaters on August 15, the all-new Star Wars adventures continue in Fall 2008 with half-hour installments on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT.

The Digital Artists Group serves both as an extension of Industrial Light & Magic, contributing to ILM’s work on feature film visual effects, as well as to support LucasArts’ video game productions.

I've seen a couple of trailers for this - frankly, to me it looks like complete crap.

Plus, Frank Oz is not the voice of Yoda. I don't think I could get past that.

It does look like crap. I refuse to see based on the content alone. I refuse to admit that the prequels exist in any way shape or form. This could be interesting if they would do something like "Shadows of the Empite"...not sure why Lucas spends so much damn time with the prequel crap when everyones heart lies with the original trilogy.

This looks absolutely horrible..... I just don't see the need for it to exist.

Also, why is this in the water cooler - it's more appropriate in the film forum isn't it?

The Clone Wars mini-series on CN rocked. If you haven't watched them, I suggest you at least rent them. If the Clone Wars version of General Grevious was in Episode III, he would've kicked everyone's ass.

I like the artistic style and the plot looks interesting. WB has done some great animated films lately with Super Man: Doomsday, The Justice League, and Gotham Knight. This could be good.
