What an idiot.

I read the original graphic novel, it's boring and kind of sucks. Sam Mendes improved the story a lot and actually gave the story meaning. The film is perfect in many ways, it's cinematography is mindblowing, the cast is great, the story is tragic and yet profound, and the message and end are very powerful.

You just can't come in and make a sequel. I get the idea that yeah the novel ended differently and it makes sense for the graphic novels to have a sequel but there is no need for a sequel to the movie! THE WHOLE POINT OF THE FILM WAS TO KEEP MICHAEL AWAY FROM THE WORLD OF VIOLENCE AND GIVE HIM A NORMAL LIFE and especially with that end scene.

Jeeze some people in this world piss me off. Collins wasn't the reason Road to Perdition was a success it was because of the people that worked on the film that it was a success.

Of course I won't watch it but there is no reason to make it in the first place. Hopefully it goes direct to dvd like the Donnie Darko sequel.

yup. Max Collins is indeed a jackass but my love for Road to Perdition won't be altered in anyway if a sequel is produced or not.
