Default blu ray adds on hd dvd announcements?

why is there a lot more blu ray ads than hd dvd ads here? it doesn't sound logical to see a sony happy hdtv ad while looking at an hd dvd preview/review... you guys should put up some toshiba or microsoft or (eventualy) okyno or venturer ads on hd dvd specific articles... also the front page should have some hd dvd ads on it. it leans really heavily towards blu ray. it only mkaes sence to sell relevant products like an hd dvd player to someone looking at an hd dvd review.

I don't even understand that one Sony ad, "The only way to see 5 of 8 movie releases is on HD is on Blu-ray." WTF does that mean? And they only display 4 Blu-ray movies.

But, this shouldn't turn into a discussion, still... it makes no sense...

Gee, thanks for the explanation. Will you be registering as an HD DVD Insider here and on the AVSForum, since you obviously possess high level Financial information concerning the HD DVD PRG finances, advertising budgets, etc.?

You do realize that what ads go up is determined by who wants to pay how much, right? You don't generally contact people to tell them, "Hey, we want you to buy advertising from us," they contact you. You don't decide "Hey, I want to put an add for ___ on this page" before someone agrees to pay you.

Think of it this way: would you call your local cable provider and complain that you haven't seen enough ads for Transformers yet?

The ads are not selected by High Def Digest. I think they're provided by Google.
