Default "my personal store experience" subforum?

I think it would be really nice to have a "my personal store experience" subforum.

Agreed. Then no one can say "it doesn't matter what your experience was, it's not indicative of the universal high definition presence."

I have always wanted to have this sort of threads on a separate sub forum.
Right now we get a new personal experience thread every other day.
Only few people really cares if one nearby shop has more movies or less. More players or less.
It can even be a sticky thread where all new threads get moved if someone else dare to open a new one.

Some examples:

http://forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?t=11104
(what's going on at my local walmart)

http://forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?t=10817
(what's going on at my local costco)

http://forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?t=11042
(What the guy at my local sony store told me)

These posts are mainly found in smackdown. Usually anecdotal stories about what they saw at a local store or what someone at a local store told them. Moveing them ALL into one forum would clean up the smackdown section and for people that actualy put weight on anecdotal stories they could go there to check them out.

Basically the anecdotal forum section. You could include posts like "My brother's mom's dad told me this"

Please take action i think the majority of people here are in support of this.

I would also like to see a seperate subforum (like the Sales figures one) for "My local store ....." stories.

I think they can be interesting, but they take away from the main smackdown forum in general I believe.

There seem to be two suggestions being made here:

1) create a separate area for all anecdotal info

and

2) create a separate area for anecdotal "Local Store Reports" within the smackdown area

Regarding the first one, I just don't think it's feasible -- while it would be great for members to post to an area like this when appropriate, experience tells me most members wouldn't, which would then put an unfair burden on our mods to determine which posts are anecdotal or not.

As for the second one, certainly doable, but let me chew on it for a while...

Thks as always for the feedback
