Default Exploding Ad?

Long time visitor, first time poster.

I visit HDD almost everyday. Today is the first time I've come across this problem.

There is an ad for "World's Last Chance" that is covering up a portion of the main website, preventing me from reading the "In the Spotlight" information and preventing me from clicking on the most recent High-Def Disc reviews. Very, very, very annoying, especially since there appears to be no way to close the ad.

I was going to provide a screenshot, but I'm not allowed since this is my first post.

I also tried to provide the link that the ad takes me to, but again, I'm not allowed.

Is this what is considered an "exploding ad"? Is there anything I can do about it?

there is another thread in this feedback section to report forum problems.
you could also post in that.
the exploding ads will be reported, but the time varies wildly as to when an ad that is reported gets eradicated.
sometimes it takes a day; sometimes a week,
but they do make every effort to get rid of them.
imo an exploding ad is any ad that either expands beyond the borders it is in originally upon a rollover by a mouse or an ad that blatantly appears to "explode" all over the screen when you load a page.
the "exploding ad" problem was vicious for a long time on here, but thankfully through Atteberry's persistence IB finally got a handle on the situation.
EDIT: oh I forgot, post the link that the ad leads you to when it explodes.
that will help to get it eliminated faster.

This one appears on the main page and in articles you navigate to from the main page.

Here is the link to the guilty sponsor:
