Default Red Cliff Review

I was just wondering if you guys have any plans to review that movie. I really liked it and was wondering if the Blu-ray is worth a purchase or just a rental. You know how it is with these Asian films.

I watched Part I tonight. I thought it was really good. If you had any concerns about investing your time in a 280 minute Chinese film--get rid of them!

Picture quality is breathtaking, and the sound quality is really good too. Definitely worth checking out.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Red Cliff. I'd have to say that Part I is a better movie, although Part II has a great battle scene of course. I'll invest into the Blu at a later time

I reckon this is Woo's best movie in years, it's cheesy but made with such gusto that you can't help but be mightily entertained.

Red Cliff was a day one purchase for me. It is a great movie.

The cinematography of the film is simply amazing.

How is it compared to the HK edition? Is the "International" cut edited at ALL?

No, according to the listed specifications, it is the full unedited release with a run time of 288 minutes.

So you're saying it doesn't even have the minor tampering the full version of "Red Cliff" has in the UK?
