Default Looking for a good combo player at a good price...

I'm looking to outfit my secondary TV in my livingroom with a combo player. In this case, as it's secondary and going on a 720p TV, a good price is more important than top-of-the-line quality. Any ideas?

It won't be connected to any surround sound... it's just so I can watch my hhhhdvd and bbblu movies in this livingroom.

You have 2 options. Whatever you can find cheaper, the BH200 or BD-UP5000, nab it (don't listen to people who will steer you in one direction or another). The only caveat being, is your 720p TV equipped with HDMI 1.3 (and not 1.2 or older)? I would not recommend the BH200 for displays with older HDMI revisions.

I managed to find a BD-UP5000 on ebay for a respectable $300... so I went for that. Hopefully it lasts a while!

good choice i have the bh200 and it longer reads HD dvds. and another thing thats better about the samsung is that it has a better video processor for upconversion.

one thing that makes the BH200 better than the samsung is that you can change the region coding for dvds and blu rays.

i dont think there has been a hack yet for the samsung.
