Default First hybrid HD DVD/Blu-ray Writer for PC!

Unfortunately I can not do links becuase I'm new to this board if please someone could do for me.

Its the LGE GGW-H10N (Hybrid Blu-ray/HD-DVD drive)

Coming in the first Quarter 2007, below 1.199 $

Good for people like me for buildng a HTPC for HD.

It's not an HDDVD-R writer... it's just an HDDVD-ROM attached to a BluRay writer.

Sure, it can still play HDDVD's, but you subject made it sound like it was a dual format writer, and it's not.

Man, 1199 clams a bit steep, of course it is 1st gen.

Trust me, you could do A LOT worst than LG. But still i would wait until they get faster and more cheaper.

According to engadget article (can't link but see another thread in this subforum) it is only $500. The $400 model plays both but doesn't write BR.
