Default Speaking of Cross-Format

Speaking of cross-format players, do you think they could go ahead and add support for DVD-Audio or SACD while they are at it?

Those of us with receivers supporting Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD with analog inputs only have one set of those inputs on our receivers after all, and DVD-Audio and SACD players are also to be used with those inputs.

Ok, aside from the argument that DVD-Audio and SACD formats are already dead in the water, is there any reason why a cross-format player wouldn't support them?

Maybe they already do?

The Panny supports DVD-Audio and from what I understand the PS3 supports SACD.

Good to know. Seems like we need a player that supports HD-DVD, BR, DVD-A and SACD formats all-in-one. I'll probably see snow in Miami first but I'm just saying...

Well if Denon jump on board then there is a real possibility that a this will be viable. Won't be cheap though.

I to would prefer a Blu-Ray machine that would play both SACD and DVD-A.
By the way SACDs are still being made with more to come, but at a trickle rate.
