Default Samsung Roundtable – CES 2011

I was lucky enough to sit in on a roundtable meeting with some of Samsung’s top brass along with twenty or so other press members. A lot of questions got asked and we got some great answers.

I hope their next series of Plasmas don't have the odd motion problems of their current sets. That's my biggest problem with their plasma line. They just look junky.

Now, their LEDs are quite nice. But, I lean towards Plasma sets as I feel they look more natural - except the current Samsung line. I have no clue why they thought it was a good idea to put Anti Judder on their set, let alone, make it unstoppable.

Plasma ain't going anywhere soon at least...here's hoping for continued improvements, maybe they'll match the Pioneer 9.5G black level of performance in a few more years.

That's great. I'll be sticking with Panasonic for my Plasma needs, though.

Seeing that Panasonic bought the Pioneer Plasma tech...I don't blame you.

I'm going with whoever makes the set with the consistently best picture (and lasts over the long haul). ;-)
