Default The Last of the Mohicans

Movie came out in 1992, good cast and I thought that the cinematography was really good. This is a day 1 purchase for me. C'mon Fox release it already.

Agree 100%!!

One thing about this film it should look very colorful, given the locales and the costumes. Personally, i'm dying to hear this score in lossless surround, should be quite revealing!

Hopefully they release it with the theatrical and the directors cut and not just the directors cut (like the DVD).

I would love the have this in my collection as Steelbook as its one of my all time favorite drama films.

Great Actors, Great Acting, Great Directing, Simply a Masterpiece....

This was the first "R" rated movie I watched when I was a kid and I'd love to get this on Blu.

I hope both cuts of the film make it to Blu including whatever Michael Mann wants to do for extras. Hopefully it'll include the isolated score track. Of course it should also retain the film grain.

This movie was fantastic, even though I have watched it multiple times. I would still consider it to be a great treat.

I'd love to see both cuts but with Michael Mann, I kinda doubt it.

That's one of the main reasons why I'm going to buy the Theatrical Cut from Korea. Of course if it isn't OOP. It is available from Amazon.co.uk but I figure I'd just get the title in NTSC instead of PAL. Finally a way to have a custom 2-Disc DVD set!
What a disappointment it would be if this were to be released as a BD-25 with the feature encoded in MPEG2. I'm going to download an HD broadcast of this an burn it either to a DVD5 or DVD9 to see if it holds up. I own the DTS Region 1 DVD.
