no, but it appears on HD cable and sat all the time... i'd suggest recording it on a dvr until it comes... could be ages... people were waiting for it on hd dvd since inception...

How does the OP realistically expect us to have any info on this?

Universal and Paramount are still being stubborn about their stance in the HD department. They seem to still be embarassed that their format of choice (HD-DVD) lost the war and they haven't made an announcement as to when their first wave of Blu-Ray releases will come out. Companies that were HD-DVD exclusive wasted no time with their switch and they've already released some of their discs onto Blu-Ray. I went to the Universal web site and I see they've removed their HD-DVD ads but still no announcement of a Blu-Ray switch. All their upcoming releases are announced solely on DVD. Why can't they just accept it and start releasing on DVD?

and when it finally DID get released on DVD, the cropping on BACK TO THE FUTURE 2 was wrong... Then, they released a corrected version (need to look at the barcode to know if you have the correct version)

That's because Universal was waiting for all of the film rights to revert back to them. I don't think we'll need to wait as long (could still be awhile, but not 5+ years) for the BD. At least I hope....
