I have been using the Folding @Home for a little while now. But I noticed that you can join a team. What difference does joining a team make as opposed to doing it by yourself? Does anyone know how to find teams to join? Are there benefits to favoring one team over others? Does it matter who you join?

Join our team, there is a sticky about in this section. I think its 55259? but I would check out the sticky.

If im not mistaken, the team aspect work like so, they send you close and similar data that after completion is related or close to each other so they can finish that portion of the calculation faster while if you do it on your own, you will get any random part of the data stream to crunch
