Default Inglourious Basterds PS3 Issue

I have a 20GB PS3 with firmware 3.15. All my other Blu-ray's work, to my knowledge. However, when I put in Inglourious Basterds, it will not pass the "loading" screen.

I figured it was a disc issue and got a second from Amazon. Second disc the same thing. Tried both in my Dad's Samsung player and both worked.

Anyone have any similar issue? Any idea what the problem might be?

Yes, I cannot get my IB BD from Netflix to load on either my 40g or 60g PS3. Both worked fine the night before when i watched my Public Enemy BD from Netflix. The 60g recognizeds the disc but it wont play, the 40g wont even rec the disc. I also have the 3.15 firmware update.

Have you tried another disc to make sure the update didnt fry your PS3?

I watched it last night on my 40gb PS3 with no problems. I have not done the 3.15 update yet.

I had this same problem with Drag Me to Hell and I believe they are both from the same company. Latest firmware on my 1st gen PS3, with no previous problems. I'll have to to try deleting the BD data utility like nmcmahan52 suggested.

There's no BD Data Utility from the movie. I cleared out my entire folder...still nothing.

I have a 80GB PS3, with updated firmware, and my IG played fine.
You might also want to check if its BD-Live related. (I unplug my ethernet when watching movies.) Who knows what kind of garbage Universal is trying to load onto our systems
