Default Bought the new slim ps3 to replace my old one....need help

I bought the new slim ps3 today and plan on putting my old one in another home. Can I have my psn account on two ps3s? Also, how do I go about transferring psn games that I downloaded like echochrome and tekken??

Thanks in advance

I did too. Yea you can have your PSN on multiple consoles but can only be logged in on one at a time. Games, you should deactivate your old system (Console>PSN>Acct Management>System Act>Games>Deact) to free up the slot and then activate your new console by following the same steps. Login to your PSN, and go to the downloads icon and just redownload everything.

I wish there was an easy way of doing a full transfer. I found the change over to be a royal pain.

I'm guessing you just can't pop out the OLD HardDrive and put it in the new SLIM, right? The reason why I ask is because I have a 320 GB I put in my Fat and that's the reason why I haven't bought a Slim yet...

Yea it was, for me it was mostly downloading all of my PSN titles and then massive patches for LBP and Burnout.

It works but it requires a format of the drive and to download the 2.80 firmware onto a USB stick and do the update. So you will lose all the data on it. So before you switch, you need to manually copy over every save and some games don't allow that. Fat Princess and KZ2 don't, so I lost all of my stats in Fat as the server doesn't store them. Also I totally spaced and forgot to back-up tons of pics and TV shows that I paid for on the PSN Store. No way to recover those)

I plan on getting the Slim for the extra bedroom/media room. I have my phatty 60GB in the basement and plan on keeping it there. If I registred my Slim under a new PSN name, could I play online with/against my son while he is playing the 60 GB and I am playing the Slim??

Yes. So far, me and my girlfriend havent had a problem. We put some serious time into battlefield 1943 playing against/with each other..Both machines running wireless, with no issues whatsoever. I'll be interested to see if the same can be said when playing something a little more demanding.
