Default Keep the BD60 or PS3

I have watched one movie on my BD60 since I bought it. I don't watch a ton of movies. I wanted a PS3 for Madden only. I figured I would try to win a brand new, sealed 80GB on eBay. I set my bid at $300 and won! I am trying to decide if I should keep the BD60 or PS3. I know I could sell it for the same or more. I won't watch a ton of movies or play many games, but I do like having the BR player just for movie rentals if nothing else. What would you do and maybe why? Thanks!

if you don't really play games i don't see a reason for a ps3, i got a bd 60 a couple weeks ago and i think it's a very good player, you'll get more money for a ps3 if you try to sell it

I figured the same thing. I just kinda threw out the eBay bid and never thought that I would get it at $300 brand new. Plus, the rumor is the new PS3 Slim could be out at $299. I better sell this if I want to get my money back. I would only play Madden anyway and not that much.

I never used a BD60, but I would keep the PS3, it is so much more versatile in my opinion. Besides just playing games, install PS3 Media Streamer on your computer and watch anything on your TV from your computer (music/pictures too). They both are around $300, the value is with the PS3.

With the PS3 you always have the option of games, with the BD60 ... nope.

That's also a good point!

I sold my last PS3 and replaced it with a BD35 in my living room, and got a Samsung BD-P1500 for my bedroom. I wound up buying another PS3 for the living room, putting the BD35 in the bedroom and selling the 1500. If you game at all with the PS3, I'd keep it. Otherwise, you can almost surely sell it for more than you could the BD60.

Keep the PS3, it will be better at BD playing and offers a ton of other options as well.
