Default about ps3 settings

Hi everyone, I download the new update for my ps3 yesterday. The upscale is working well but I notices that when I choose RGB full range to be (Full), the video is turn out so dark. So I want to ask you what the best settings for the following options are:

Display Settings:
RGB Full Range
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White

BD/DVD Settings:
BD/DVD Video Output Format
BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI)
BD/DVD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital)

I connects my ps3 through 46" XBR2 for video, and through optical to my surround system. Thanks in advance

I have the same TV as you. I set mine to Automatic, and it looks great.

I didn't think I should pick RGB or Y Pb if there's an Automatic option.

EDIT: I just found this link comparing the difference settings.

No problem. Do you know if our TV supports RGB Full?

I did the test they have at the bottom of the article, and switching between Full and Limited. I didn't notice any difference. This is what that same spot in the Uncharted video look like on my XBR2.

Pictures taken on a Canon PowerShot G7 10MP:

I just found out how to notice the difference betweeen the two...

Use the 'freeze' button on your TV remote. Have one set to Full and the other on Limited and make them the same screen, you should see a big difference, I did.

I tried the test, when I choose limit mode and increase the brightness so that 10 boxes appear then switch to full range, most of the boxes disappears but after increasing the brightness again I were able to see the boxes again. But when play a movie the picture will be very bright. For now, I used vivid mode and the brightness is 55(to be able to see all boxes in full range), what is yours ??
