Default PS3 and getting knocked off the internet

I didn't check all the threads, and I apologize if it was answered somewhere else. We have a PS3 and when I go online, if somone else is online it knocks them off and they have to go back on. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

I have a linksys router. And I didn't configure it at all - just plugged it in and started. How do I configure it and what do I configure it to?

On the bottom of your router is a web address that allows you to access the configuration of the router, user & password should be listed on the bottom also.

i have a wonky router that has issues with the xbox. unplugging and plugging power resolves it for a while. The laptop in the house doesn't seem to have issue with it. What I ended up doing was getting a wired router and hooked both routers up to my cable modem xbox and desktop goes through that router and wireless router for the laptop. Thy are both Linksys routers.
