Default If I sell my PS3...

...what will happen to the PSN games I have downloaded? Will I have to re buy them when I get a new PS3?...I'm not sure how it works.

I'm assuming the person who buys the system will be able to use the games and when I get a new one I'll have to purchase them.

they're psn account bound. so just make sure u remove your account and credentials from the ps3. you will have to redownload but not rebuy.

Makes sure you factory reset your PS3 and delete all your data off the drive. Use the Backup utility if you want to save anything off it if you think you'll get another PS3 down the road.

The exception with Singstar I sold my 40GB and bought a 80GB and tried re-downloading the songs I paid for and it didn't allow me to. I have to re-buy the songs.

I can see my past history purchase but a pop up would say 'read the rights' thingy and it doesn't allow to give me my download I already paid for sucks.

Sony said that, you can't redownload movies, tv shows or Singstar songs. Sucks, but that's their policy.

Sony PS3 does not sell so well. In fact Sony gives 42" TVs for people to buy PS3. bbc20000 High Definition Smackdown 51 03-25-2007 09:36 PM
