Default Any LocoRoco Reviews?

Has anybody bought the LocoRoco game from PSN? I never played the PSP version but this game looks interesting. Is it any good?

I just saw the trailer too on PSN. I felt like I was doing shrooms without the side effects... I like!!!

I downloaded it and it's not bad. Takes some figuring out but seems pretty mindless, like flow. I wish it had the PSP gameplay (everyone does.....) but for what it is, It's worth the purchase.

Its full 1080p, looks great, and has that hypnotic singing.

I bought it and found it rather disappointing. You don't control the LocoRocos directly, you just influence their movement by moving a little butterfly around with the analogue stick. It's really slow and I found rather boring after a while. There are also some tilting see-saw type things which you can move about by tilting the controller.

It's okay for the price but I'd sooner of had a full LocoRoco game with the PSP style gameplay.

I found it kind of hard actually. I know it's supposed to be a kids game, but the directions to me weren't very clear. Things like...those little gumby guys hanging, what are they for? Do you try to free them too? I spent 10 min. just trying to get one down, then finally figured that they were just there as a graphical effect, not something I had to bump. Also it's not clear that you can "shake" things...that part takes a bit of figuring out what you can and can't shake. Moving the butterfly around and figuring out how to get to certain parts of the map is the big challenge. I messed with it a bit and determined I didn't have the patience for this game...

It's fun I'm sure at some point once you figure it out...I just got other games to finish that are more important to me right now. There were definetly things I liked, it looks like it would be great for kids who don't care what they're doing in the game, and the singing/music is top notch.
