Default Disney Blu-ray Delays

Mickey is a sad panda... I mean mouse.

Dumbo is delayed until next February, and Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 have been pushed to December.

This sucks. I was looking forward to all three of these releases and the original Fantasia is one of my favorite pieces of music.

You can get Dumbo from Mexico with the new restoration. The Blu-ray includes the U.S. discs and has an English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track.

Damn, I was looking forward to Fantasia and March because of all the Disney titles that were slated to come out. Still have the Toy Story movies to look forward to, and Ponyo.

And it's still scheduled for release in the UK March 22 -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dumbo-Specia.../dp/B002ZG8CRK

Although since it's a BD/DVD combo pack, the DVD will be Region 2 PAL. Sounds like it's gonna be like Monsters Inc. - staggered international releases until the delayed US release ties in with another release they think will give it a boost.

Hmmm, it's only a 45 minute drive to the Mexican border for me, although I haven't been there in years . . . might have to venture across.

The UK release will be region locked to Region B unfortunately. Mexico being Region A is the most practical solution.

Are you sure about that?
The UK Monsters Inc. was Region Free.

Disney has region locked all of their Platinum/Diamond titles on Blu-ray. Monsters Inc. is a Pixar title in which region locking varies.
