Damn, the more I read about this movie, the more pumped I get to see it. Just ordered it from Amazon today, and should be here tomorrow. It's pretty awesome having one of their wherehouses in the major city next to where I live.

Two movies that I ended up really liking were Helvetica and The Signal. Found both of them used at a local shop, and ended up really liking both.

And I just watched US: Regeneration last night. So badass.

i'm still trying to find helvetica for a good price. i enjoyed wordplay, so i think it won't bore me.

i was surprised last week w/ Riding Giants, and this week with the title in question, Universal Soldier: Regeneration. Tell No One was a pleasant treat, as were The War Within and World's Greatest Dad.

The best presentation for Equilibrium is still the Japanese HD DVD, which has DD+. You could import BD version from Holland I think it is, but the only difference is that is has lossless audio and we all know that DD+ is usually indistinguishable versus lossless.

I watched Mirrormask and Equilibrium in the theater. So not really DTV.
Both were "independent theaters" though.

Going to have to check out Universal Soldier: Regeneration. Friend of mine said it was kick-ass. I liked the original.
