Default Die Hard Collection on Blu-ray

Recently this morning I picked up the new edition of the Die Hard series. On the Yippee Ki Yay bonus disc after the "Wrong Guy, Wrong Place: A Look Back at Die Hard Documentary" & "The Continuing Adventures of John McClane Featurette" a notice appeared stating...

"Die Hard" available to own on DVD.

Coming soon to Blu-ray Disc.

(This goes for Die Hard 2: Die Harder and Die Hard with a Vengeance)

Oh cool, like Fox's CES anouncements 6 months ago touting Silence of the Lambs, Independence Day, I Robot. Ooooo, or maybe Mr. and Mrs. Smith!!! That's a great title too.
Or maybe like Disney's DVD screenshot showing Finding Nemo, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and other classic titles all coming to Blu-Ray.

Seriously, its great that this is supposedly slated for an HD release, but you can trust Fox about as far as you can throw them. I'd say you probably shouldn't get too happy about this until its up for pre-order but even THAT is no guarantee with these guys.

It will come eventually, which is better than knowing that it will never come...

So will death and taxes.

Both of which are more enjoyable than Diehard 2 by the way.

Very good.

I actually don't mind Die Hard 2. Its better than the third one, for a start.

Now if you'd have said Back to the Future 2, Speed 2, Ghostbusters 2 or Exorcist 2, I'd have wholeheartedly agreed with you.

And out come the fanboys saying how horrid Die Hard was because they can't get it on HD DVD.

Die Hard 2 and 3 were great, and you guys can take your BS elsewhere.

Die Hard 3 wasn't even originally a Die Hard movie, that's why it seems out of place in the series.
