Default High-Def Digestís Holiday Gift Guide 2009: The Essential Holiday Blu-rays

David Krauss is busy dreaming of a Blu Christmas, but he's taken some time to compile a list of the best holiday Blu-rays currently available:

Great list!

I really need to check out Love, Actually because I loved The Boat That Rocked so much.

Except for home alone i wouldn't want any on that list.

Why isn't die hard on there.it takes place of Christmas and is much better than those IMO.

I've seen all but the Romantic ones, and they are all great. The 3 classics are all very good. There are definitely some missing. If you are a fan of the Christmas Carol story, George C. Scott and Patrick Stewart both starred as scrooges in their Christmas Carol movies. Scrooged with Bill Murray is also great

I consider Gremlins to be a Christmas movie -- it's the only time I can watch it.

Good suggestions, Boston. But the article was, of course, confined to Blu-ray Christmas movies, and I don't believe any of those titles have been released on Blu as of yet.

Great point! I thought Scrooged would definitely be on blu ray.

I let me Christmas spirit get to me, as I love the season and these movies

Come on, if Die Hard is not an essential holiday viewing I do not know what is.
