Our review of 'Stop Making Sense: 25th Anniversary' has been posted. This is a nicely remastered Blu-ray of a classic concert film. With strong video, good, audio, and some extras fans won't want to miss, this one comes recommended!

El Bicho, are you nuts? Or did you reviewed this BD on all-in one "system" that was purchased at Target? Audio is 5+ stars without any doubt.

+1000

I usually respect peoples opinion on audio, but 4/5 is an insult for this recording/mix.

Just watched this on Sun night (studio track) and this is probably the best concert audio on BR to date.......5 stars easily. Does this reviewer have a capable system and is it calibrated/EQd? This is reference audio hands down. I was floored the entire show listening to this and I expected big things considering the dvd has always been a reference for dvd concert audio (IMO) and the BR sounds even better.

Except for the press conference extra where the multi-channel mix is borked. I had to switch my receiver to mono to listen to it.

So far I've only watched the movie with the Feature Mix which isn't my favourite but it's great on this disc. I'm looking forward to re-watching with the Studio Mix. 4/5 stars seems fair for the Feature Mix. It's not at the level of clarity in say, John Mayer - Where the Light Is or Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City Music Hall which are both 5/5.

A minor comment: The review mentions David Byrne's boombox at the opening of the movie. It's actually just a prop... the sound is probably coming from another source connected to the sound board.

disagree w/ the guy, but questioning his equipment because of it, and you'll be the one looking the part of the fool.

Well the DVD has been my favorite. Upon popping in the blu recently it was like hearing some of these songs for the first time and in a new light. Well worth the upgrade just for the sound, imo.
