Default 'Trick 'r Treat' - High-Def Digest Review

E has reviewed 'Trick 'r Treat.' He says this collection of four spooky stories is one of the best Halloween films in recent years, and looks fantastic in high definition. The audio is quite good, too, and there are plenty of exclusive high-def extras. This one gets a solid recommendation.

I tried to enjoy this movie, but maybe I'm not one for short stories with less room to evolve. I just didn't think it had any major impact with each bit. Come to think of it, I used to love Tales from the Crypt, but I bet I wouldn't really enjoy them much anymore.

I do like horror, but this one just didn't do it for me. It seems that more people enjoy than not, though.

This movie gets better with re-viewings. You'll catch all of the funny references and inside jokes that foreshadow the plot. This movie was carefully scripted for it.

I should have this movie in the mail in the next day or two. After renting and watching the dvd, I decided that this is a must own. Can't wait to watch it again this weekend.

Do all the stories tie together or is it like 4 separate short films just packaged on one disc?
