Default 'Land of the Lost' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron has reviewed 'Land of the Lost.' He thinks this is better suited for home viewing, as he enjoyed it much more the second time than he did in theaters. As for the Blu-ray, video, audio, and extras are all pretty solid. Cautiously recommended. Feral Ferrell fans run a better chance of enjoying this one.

I saw the movie and i liked it. I don't get the bad reviews by critics, but this was a well done movie, good adventure and it had it's funny moments. too bad it bombed in theatres

I saw this in theaters and didn't like it at all, same as the reviewer. But as I was reading the review, just thinking about the part where Ferrell takes out his pipe while he's on that show had me chuckling.

I think I'll put it in my netflix queue and see what I think of it on a second viewing .

Disliked it so much in the theaters I won't be giving it another go. I certainly understand how perspectives can change though.

Rented this over the weekend and the review is right on. Not a great movie by any means, but good for a few decent chuckles. It's way better than the other historical comedy, Year One. If you don't find any of Ferrel's antics funny, you should know better than to get into this. But if you do, it has its moments. All in all, a solid rental.

FYI. the 83 minute is a blu-ray exclusive and is not featured on the DVD (at that length)..

The review should be updated to reflect this.

I was gonna pass, but I might throw it in my Netflix queue. I usually like Will Ferrell.

Ferrell movies have really sucked to me. There are few I've liked. The ones I like are usually when he's not playing the same dumbass Ricky Bobby character.
