Default 'The New York Ripper' - High-Def Digest Review

In time for Halloween, Nate has reviewed 'The New York Ripper.' This sounds like one seriously disturbing horror movie. This Blu-ray features great video, average audio, and a collection of somewhat of drab extras. Depending on your taste in horror movies, this may be worth a look.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

you HAVE to see it! It is one of the greats from the early 80's slasher craze. This one still holds up in the violence department. I love it and should have it from amazon.com in the next few days. Finally I can replace my crappy old Anchor Bay DVD release.

Nice review I saw this theatrically back in the early 90's, also had some edition on VHS. I remember it wasn't bad, but my personal Fulci favorite is The Beyond.

Need to put in a U.S. order sometime soon for this and some other recent releases.
