Default 'The Dark Crystal' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron has reviewed ‘The Dark Crystal.’ The film doesn't scare him as much as it did when he was a kid. In fact, he says this is one weird, charming, fascinating little cult movie from the mind of the late, great Jim Henson. This Blu-ray features a great presentation of an older film. With strong video, audio, and extras, this release comes highly recommended.

Looks like I'll have to start looking for a good deal on this. Always liked this movie....

Thanks for the review!

I have never seen or even heard of this flick. Have to think about this one before I possibly blind buy.

I recommend renting it first if you have not seen it.

it doesn't make sense to me when the Overall Grade is higher than any of the individual grades.

I pre-ordered this on Amazon, since it was one of my all-time favorite movies as a kid. In fact, I always said that if I was to ever have kids, they would be named Kira and Jen.

Glad to see that they did the film justice with the transfer.

They're called Skeksis, Aaron, not Skesis.

Complete brain fart on my part. Thanks for pointing it out, that extra 'K' must have really thrown me off. It should be fixed shortly. Apologies!

EDIT: Review has been corrected, thanks again for pointing that out.
