Default Suspiria may be coming to Blu-ray

Now Weinstein has the rights to Suspiria currently, and they are working on a new release of it for DVD and possibly Blu-ray. It may very well be in the works for Blu-ray but with Weinstein currently being MIA it might have gotten canned like other formerly upcoming Weinstein releases. Check out this podcast, #91 with Alan Jones, at the approx 38:25 mark. I don't know if by restored version they mean a new one or the bad one (colors way off) from Europe that was released on BD in Italy.

Fingers crossed for good news.

If it even happens, they'll probably pawn the off to Alliance.

well first of all "Suspiria" has already come to bd--in Italy.
It doesn't have English subs though.

Weinstein is essentially dead to Blu-ray. Until another studio buys their catalog don't expect much of anything from them.

Well with the disappointment of Halloween 2 and Inglourious Basterds and Grindhouse(as 1 movie) not being the run away money making success they thought it would be, that might be happening or at least thats the rumor I heard.

Inglourious Basterds isn't a disappointment, The drop from weekend to weekend was much smaller than expected, and already it is Tarantino's second highest grossing film behind Pulp Fiction.
