Default Watchmen playback issues

Anybody having playback issues with Watchmen Directors Cut. Seems like every 30-40 minutes the movie pauses for a second and when it plays again the sound is out of sync. If I dont immediately rewind for a second or two, it totally freezes until you skip ahead or back. I have a Samsung BDP-1600 with the most up to date firmware and havent had any issues with other discs. Thanks.

might have nothing to do with it, but have you disabled bd-live and watched it.
I'd try that as the first test.

worth a shot but I doubt it will make a difference. Based on my quick run though it, it seems like none of the BD-Live stuff loads until you actually ask it too.... At least this seems to be the case based on the fact that it took 2+ minutes for my 2500 to get it initialized.

I'll look out to see if there are any issues, when my copy arrives. I hardly doubt there will be a problem playing it on the PS3.

Bobby,

By chance did you try cleaning the disc? That might really help! There have been some discs I've had to wipe directly out of the packaging for whatever reason. I'm thinking Star Trek TMP here.

I had to do that with one of my True Blood disks.
