Default Criterion raises prices...

I know there is a general Criterion discussion thread but...

They just announced three BD releases for October: Howard's End, Monsoon Wedding and Wings of Desire with SRP $49.95. That's $10 more than their current pricing. What's going on?

Amazon will still probably sell them under the $30.00 range.

With -33% they would be around $32-34.

Yeah, I don't see any chance of that considering it's normally in the high 20s for an SRP of $40. I imagine the bulk cost that Criterion charges is significantly more than say, Warner's, and that's going up too.
