This movie was ok, I might consider picking it up if I can find it for $10 or less.

I have the movie on HD DVD, it's decent enough. I'm not sure I'll be switching this one out though.

I won't either, Craz. I am assuming the difference will be the addition of a lossless audio track (I'm thinking my HD is lossy Dolby 5.1). I'd rather spend the $ to get something we don't already have (unless it goes into a bargain bin, then I could relegate my HD to Dad's collection and get the blu, but sonce he can borrow it anyways, it's going to have to be CHEAP)

Agreed. Only way I would get this flick again on is if they include some special features not on the version and their was an upgrade in PQ and AQ. Although..when I first got this release on sd dvd, I got the sd dvd collectors edition that had 'Dracula', 'Frankenstein', and 'The Wolfman' included in the release. If they released THIS version on and these 3 classic bw horror flicks were in hi def I would not hesitate to pick it up.

I have this movie on SD DVD and never got the HD DVD so I will be picking this up as I dind it nearly as bad as some people to it was a decent film plus it has Kate Beckensaile. September seems to be shaping up to be an expensive month for blu-ray releases.

ABOUT GOD DAMN TIME!!!

Now they just need to bring Shaun of the Dead (actually, isn't that Sept as well??), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Equilibrium, and a TrueHD version of Corpse Bride out to Blu-Ray, and I'll have all of the movies I owned on HD-DVD replaced.
