Well...... CRAP!!!!!! So much for the promo for Monsters, Inc. on A Bug's Life clearly stating "Now on Blu-ray!"

So we originally thought BTTF, Alien Quad, and Indy would all be ready for us for the Christmas shopping season. Does this leave any blockbuster release (aside from the theatrical LOTR box which I and many others will be passing on until the EE's arrive) to look forward to for the holiday season??? Can we get some Jaws action at least? Spielberg needs to bail out the format this Christmas.

Nope. When Blu-ray fails to sell enough players this year we will know exactly who to blame.

What are they thinking? What does that leave for the holiday push? How do expect the format to grow if they skip the biggest season for sales?

And why is it that Spielberg who was supposedly a huge Blu supporter has yet to see any of his major films scheduled for release? Jaws, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, Minority Report, War of the Worlds and the list goes on.

I love how studios get behind a format and then dwindle the good releases and screw up the ones we actually want. Cause y'know I'm running out for "Hannah Montana" and "High School Musical".

Yeah, funny thing is, the next 3 Disney films I am expected to get to review are Jonas Bros 3D, Hannah Montana Movie and Escape to Witch Mountain. Wonderful Disney, just wonderful. Do they even have a Q4 slate now?
