I liked the original and when I saw the trailer for the remake, I thought that it was intense and cooler. I will be getting this one as well.

The film wasn't nearly as brutal as it was made out to be and not nearly as brutal as the original. The killers in the film didn't have the same motivations as the original either and appeared to be more human than sadistic muderers. The rape scene was a tad rough but nothing compared to similar films. The pacing was slow and it dragged on but there was never I point I had to turn away as in the first Hostel film or some scenes in Saw. I will likely pass on this having seen it in theaters and not being impressed at all.
