Default It's a Wonderful Life, Gump, Gladiator, Star Trek news

http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=2837

I looked for this in the forum but didn't see it mentioned. Digital Bits has given us some further info on the fall slate for Paramount:

"The Blu-ray slate includes:

September 1: 'Braveheart'
September 15: 'Deep Impact', 'Escape from L.A.', '48 Hours'
September 22: 'Star Trek: The Original Series - Season 2', 'Gladiator: Extended Edition', 'Galaxy Quest'
November 3: 'Forrest Gump', 'It's a Wonderful Life'

Additionally, the 'Star Trek: The Next Generation - Original Motion Picture Collection' will be released on a date still pending, to coincide with the home video release of J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek'. It will include 'Generations', 'First Contact', 'Insurrection' and 'Nemesis'. Also, the Star Trek movies already released as part of a set will be rereleased separately.

Note, however, that all of the above must be considered unofficial until there is an announcement by the studios."

---

I just knew we wouldn't go another Christmas without It's a Wonderful Life on BD. I'm excited for this.

These will all be mine, though I may have to live on a street corner after ponying up that much cash...

Mr Loys broke news on a few of those.

The TNG OMPC, yeah, that's a high priority. I really liked 'First Contact,' but haven't seen it since it hit theatrically, so I wonder if it will hold up to my memory.

That very well could be the week that convinces my wife to divorce me

(Assuming those come out that week, they will likely all be mine!)

48 Hours sounds right as Amazon UK has it up for pre order with a release date of Sept 14th.
