Default Hardware

Before someone moves this to a hardware forum, i just noticed that an old favourite old movie of mine that just got a Blu Ray review over at blu-ray.com

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies...09&show=review

and to address the reviewers point about annoying scratches and flecks on the print, these can cost about $300+ an hour to remove frame by frame, so i certainly do not blame the distributor for not dealing with them on this title, that will be lucky to make its authoring and replication costs back.

The screen caps look superb to me anyway - compared to my old DVDs

Must get a region free player.....

Lets hope that Richard Stanleys odd DUST DEVIL also makes it to Blu Ray.

This is a favorite of mine. I saw it in the theater and didn't really like it. But I got a chance to see it a couple of years ago and really liked it. Seen it quite a few times since. Shame it's region locked.

Up there with Johnny Mnemonic as movies that failed to turn cyberpunk into something thrilling during it's short heyday. Still, good stuff... even if just for the nostalgia.

Johnny Mnemonic = Style over substance.

Hardware was so cutting edge and subversive, considering it was 1989. We'll see what happens with that restored sex scene.

A poster at Blu-ray.com posted this and I found the link. It is also set to be released in America by Severin Films.
