I guess it's nice to see more releases, but is this something that ANYONE cares about? Let's be completely and totally honest. When Scary Movie 4 was announced for HD-DVD, a lot of people (even HD-DVD supporters) said it was unnecessary. How many of those people are going to turn around to buy the first on BD?

Van Wilder? Seriously? Was there THAT big of a demand for yet another trip to the well for this mediocre hit?

The only one I can see selling somewhat well is Are We Done Yet, only because there's a lack of many family-friendly films on both HD formats in general. Still, I don't see this one going too far with the gamer/PS3 crowd who make up the bulk of sales.

I guess my point overall is "WHERE IS MY GODDAMNED STARSHIP TROOPERS INSTEAD OF THIS CRAP?!" and who here is excited for these releases?

Are We Done Yet got all of 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but it did manage to get nearly $50M box office. This one is also a day-and-date.

Scary Movie, meh. Total $4M box office.

Van Wilder didn't do any better than that, but at least it has a cult following.

sony is hardly supporting Blu-Ray the way that Universal is a HD DVD drone!

It's a Buena Vista title overseas. Should be OK though as far as region coding. I don't think they've been doing much of it lately.
