Brad, nice find! here's hoping that this bit of info isn't an erroneous listing, as i'm sure Gilliam fans who don't want to import the German version are salivating at the thought of 12 Monkeys on Blu.

Well, I'd like to have Lossless for the sake of it. Not too mention that I love 12 Monkeys and I'll be happy to triple dip.

well maybe it will look even better than the HD DVD.
(which wasn't the greatest release imo)
I'm not holding my breath, but Universal could make it happen.

It was an oddly shot film. Having always come across as a harsh looking film. I thought the HD DVD looked fantastic. It represents the odd style of Gilliam perfectly.

yeah I wasn't quite sure how it was supposed to look, but I still figured it could look a bit better.
"Born On the Fourth of July" is another release that I had absolutely no idea if the disc was an accurate representation of the way that movie looked in the theater.
I love that film, but man that disc has varying pq.
absolutely baffling.

I've yet to see a disc that has looked better, then again not even the German BD import looks any better than the HD, so IDK.

Like you guys said, 12 Monkeys is a harshly shot flick.

This is one of my absolute favorite films. It's in my top 5 favorite science fiction films of the 90s, which was a good decade for it. Definite purchase from me if it comes out.

The film as a whole did have a very "rusted" look to it, so I'm not surprised if it looks a bit odd.
